Stephen Janick, co-owner Rittenhouse Needlepoint, is responsible for the content on these pages. Mr. Janick was formerly the University Archivist at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Prior to that he owned the Cafe Flower Shop in the Art Museum area of Philadelphia. Mr. Janick is a graduate of Haverford College (‘87). He holds two master’s degrees (Drexel University in Information Science and Temple University in Public History) He has been with his husband, Russell Palmer, III, for more than 35 years. They live in Hockessin, DE with their two standard poodles, Winnie and Tigger. Mr. Janick began keeping his art journal in October, 2021. He tries to complete a page a day in his journal and works primarily with watercolors and acrylic paint in spiral-bound notebooks. He is currently exploring larger works on canvas.
